Simulate Early, Simulate Often... In Rhino
The grid display in Scan&Solve 2013 (WIP) for Rhino allows visualization of the resolution -- the computational grid on which the simulation is carried out. This tool can be used to guide the selection of the resolution when setting up simulations and can serve as a diagnostic tool in identifying troublespots in the simulation results.

This new feature offers a good understanding of what Scan&Solve does when discretizing the domain.
I believe that the theory behind the software can allow to adopt a not uniform discretization which better fits the geometrical characteristics of the model … even though this process then is close to a classical FEM discretization process.
