Selection options using CT meshes

Hi,

for our FEAs, we are working with 3D meshes of anatomical structures obtained through reconstructions based on µCT data. To define the restrains and loading faces in SnS, we are experiencing quite some problems with selecting the wanted faces. When using both the box and lasso select option, both the visible and backfaces are being selected. Most of the times unwanted backfaces can be deselected by rotating the object, but with some irregular surfaces, that is not always present.
Ideally, would like to use a brush selection tool, where by painting on the visible side of a mesh, only the visible faces would be selected. Has anyone found a workaround for that?
