Scan-and-Solve for Rhino

Simulate Early, Simulate Often... In Rhino

I'm trying to eval SnS and can't get much going. Get the KMP_Affinity only compatible with intel processors dialogue box and then Rhino blows up and goes away. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hello Ed,

I'm not familiar with that message.  I can only assume it is coming from within the Intel-compiled code.  What I've found online suggests that you have an environment variable, KMP_Affinity, set for some other application on your non-Intel platform.

Check your environment variables and see if you have KMP_Affinity assigned to some value.  If you do, record its value, delete the KMP_Affinity variable, restart your system, and try SnS again.  Caveat: I don't know what this will do to the performance of your other applications (thus the reasoning behind recording KMP_Affinity's prior value).

Let us know if this helps.
