Scan-and-Solve for Rhino

Simulate Early, Simulate Often... In Rhino

We are looking to use SnS for designing nodes in large steelstructures (buildings). We could use the applied forces out of our other calculating software (Scia, Buildsoft,...) and put them on a detailed model of the steel node.

It is unclear to us how we have to apply the bending moment to the steel beams with only vector, scallar and presure forces. We could entroduce a 'dummy' element but this would have to be very stiff so it would not influence the results.

Is there a work around are will there be more input possibilities in the first official release?

The latest release (yesterday) concentrated on adding visualization capabilities. Additional load capabilities (including moment loads/torques) are being worked on for the next release.
