In this test we analyzed the same model with two distinct software in such a way to compare the results . In particular, it was checked how the result of a structural analysis varied if carried out on a geometrical model made of meshes (Scan and Solve ) aor made of solid elements ( prisms - other FEA software) . It was verified that gainst the high timing for modeling solid elements the trend of the tension remains similar , therefore SnS seemed to be more
advantageous.
In particular in the second phase of the test is meant to analyze the mesh model obtained directly from the laser scanning survey . It means then compare the results obtained from the analysis of a model very close to reality with those obtained from the geometrical reconstruction . This operation carried out with a software based on the modeling of solids would require an amount of time incalculable .
