Simulate Early, Simulate Often... In Rhino
Hello All;
I did some test analyses with Scan&Solve for primitive geometries such as prisms and cubes. However, I was not able to select curvilinear geometries such as spheres, ellipsoids and also “free-form” solids modelled in Rhino. I would appreciate any suggestions to deal with the problem.
Thank you
Sevil

When you start SnS, you are asked to select a solid; if it is not a solid, then you will not be able to select the geometry. See documentation. The loads and restraints are applied to faces; a sphere has a single face, and if you want to select a portion of a sphere, then you need to partition it into smaller faces. Hope this helps ... or ask again please.
